NGRE Fellow: Tatiana Barkovskiy

Tatiana Barkovskiy is a PhD Student in Philosophy at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. She holds an MA and a BA in Philosophy, as well as a BA in French Studies, all from the University of Warsaw. Her primary area of research centres on medieval instances and facets of female philosophers and philosophy of gender, with a particular focus on the epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics of thirteenth-century beguines. In connection to these issues, she is also interested in the wider history of women philosophers, the concepts of mysticism or ’mystical thinking’ in philosophy, metaphilosophy, and new histories of philosophy.
