The Humane Philosophy Project (HPP) is an initiative organised by the Humane Philosophy Society. The Project aims to provide a home for philosophy approached from a humanistic perspective and to revitalise the connection between contemporary philosophy and the arts and humanities. We have received generous support from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, UK; the John Templeton FoundationBlackfriars Hall, University of Oxford; the Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion, University of Oxford; the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw; the Emmy Noether Group, at the Ruhr University, Bochum; the Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion; the AHRC DTP, Univerity of Cambridge; the School of Humanities and Heritage, University of Lincoln; and a number of private donors. The Project has organised numerous international events in philosophy and hosts a growing library of audio and video recordings. The HPP is also strongly engaged in promoting academic collaboration between western and eastern Europe.
