Science, Theology & Philosophy Essay Prize Winners

We are delighted to announce that László Bernáth and Tamás Parr (Eötvös Loránd University and Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest) have been awarded the 2021 Oxford University Prize for Central Eastern European Perspectives on Science, Theology and Philosophy, for their paper “Responsibility First: How to Resist Agnosticism about Moral Responsibility”.

Second-place prizes were awarded to Krystof Dolezal (Central European University, Budapest & Vienna), for his paper “Irritating Secularisation Narratives”; Paulius Rimkevičius (Vilnius University), for his paper “Philosophical Beliefs as Transformative Beliefs”; and Valerii Kuzev, for his paper “The Problem of Hell and the Second Chance Theory”.
