NGRE Fellow: Nastas Jakšić

Nastas Jakšić is an MA student at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he is writing his thesis on the Epicurean notion of hedone. Before moving to Germany, Nastas studied Philosophy and Classical Philology at the University of Belgrade, where he completed his undergraduate studies and obtained his first MA on the topic of hamartia in Aristotle’s Poetics. In addition to his current work on Epicurus, he has a broad interest not only in ancient philosophy, but in classical antiquity as a whole. In particular, the following topics stand out: Hellenistic philosophy, Aristotelian ethics, Greek tragedies, and Roman historiography. (Last update: 2024)
