Elene Nabakhteveli is an invited lecturer at Ilia State University. She holds an M.A. in Religious Studies (Ilia State University) and a B.A. in Social Sciences (Free University of Tbilisi). Her research focuses on the discourse of religion and science among Georgian physicists in the late Soviet era, with a particular interest in how anti-religious state policies influenced epistemological tensions within the scientific community. Her major interests include the sociology of science, religion in the Soviet context, and epistemological frameworks in scientific communities.
