Daniel Milewski is a doctoral student in philosophy at the Doctoral School of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. On his philosophical path, he explores unity in multiplicity and similarities in dissimilar things. As part of his doctoral project, he seeks common ground between the early thought of Heidegger and the later Wittgenstein, hoping to negotiate the chasm between continental and analytic philosophy. His most recent conference talks include: "What does Kant have to say to future generations? Two lessons from the Cassirer-Heidegger debate in Davos" and "Metaphysics facing the challenge of Wittgensteinian quietism" — both of which are being prepared for publication. In his spare time, he is learning German and flirts with exploring broadly understood artistic forms of expression.
