HPP Mini-Conference, 25th July, The Political Animal?

 

Saturday 25 July, 2pm-4pm the Humane Philosophy Project held a min-conference on the topic 'The Political Animal?' as part of the Ian Ramsey Centre's 22nd-25th July Conference 'The Human Difference?' at St Ann's College, Oxford.

 

Three papers were presented on the signficance or otherwise of viewing human persons as distinctly political animals in accordance with Aristotle's famous dictum, and what this means in science, religion and beyond.
